Controlling The Discussions in a meeting


Ersa : Good morning, today we are going to discuss about advertising our new product that is Sweet Potato Balls. What do you think Ms. Retno?

Retno : I think promotion through advertisement on television quite effective, because almost every house has a television. But promotion on television less efficient because it takes a lot of expenses.

Ersa : That’s right. We need to pressing our expenses by using the other alternatives. How about you Ms. Hananti?

Hananti : In my opinion, we can use social media such as Instagram to introduce our product, because many people using Instagram now days. So we’re gonna create a new account and we will post about our new product. Furthermore, we can endorse some people to promote our product by try it and giving a review.

Nada : I’m really sorry for interupting, but who is someone we can believe that they will give a good effect to our selling?

Nessha : I think Magdalena F is a good choise, because she was a food vlogger who likes to give a review about food and she has many followers. The important thing is, most of her followers are young people that suitable with our target. Social media is a powerful tool and enables us to reach thousands of people.

Shella : While we are on the topic, does she has another social media?

Nessha : Yes she does. Magdalena has youtube channel with 802.000 subscribers, so we can ask her to make a video and upload it to her youtube channel.

Nada : Ya, I think it’s gonna be great. And, how much does it cost to advertise on Instagram?

Rahmah : Usually, every accounts of selebgram have set her own rate of cost to advertise on Instagram. There are variety of cost, depending on the number of followers. So, for this  what we have to do is negotiating directly with Magdalena.
Ersa : That’s great.  Surely, it will be cheaper than advertising through the television. So we don’t have to spend a lot of money. We need to contact her first to to see if she wants to work with us.
